Our artisanal production process, combined with the use of natural oxidations of metals to obtain deep and vibrant colors, makes each stain, hammered or rippled piece unique.

All HOIKO pieces are coated with a layer of protective varnish, with the aim of preventing direct contact with the skin or with elements such as sea water, swimming pool water, detergents or cosmetics from damaging the finish, preserving the piece and preventing stains on the skin.

To keep the piece looking as good as it did on the first day, it is recommended to avoid getting it wet. Water, including seawater or swimming pool water, as well as chemicals, cosmetics and detergents, can compromise the protective varnish, leading to loss of color or changes in texture. The pieces should be cleaned with a dry, soft cloth and stored in bags, trying to avoid damp places.
